New Blog

I know, I know, I don't keep up with the whole blogging business. Well I have some great news. I am currently developing a new blog that will absolutely be updated regularly. It will now longer be this one. The new one will be www.htrillophotography.com it is currently under construction, but let me tell you we are very excited. We will have bridal tips, wedding tips, our most current photo shoots, news, and much more. Thanks to the few of you who have been keeping up with this blog, I promise the new one will be worth your while.

Ty + Linsey

We had a wonderful engagement shoot with Ty and Lindsey last weekend. They are an amazing, fun couple with a great outlook on life. We cannot wait for their wedding, it going to be a blast.

If you like it, then you should have put a ring on it

So you have the ring, the promise to be love and true to each other for the rest of your lives!! Its and exciting, scary and busy time! I know, because I went through it just over a year ago. Now you begin to plan the biggest party of your life. How often do you plan for 9-12 months for one party? Its going to be good and its going to be exactly how you want it to be. The only thing is that there are millions of details that you might not consider-that's where our studio comes in. There are bridal fairs almost every month, however, they are not all put on by the WE channel (Women's Entertainment channel). So you know they know what women want and can provide resources to guide your planning! We will have a booth at this bridal fair on March 22nd and would love to invite any newly engaged women to join as our guests-just contact us. The great thing about bridal fairs is that it can be a wonderful way for the new bride-to-be and her favorite women to spend the day enjoying and learning about all that comes along with wedding planning. The bride-to-be will also get a taste of how nice it is to be pampered, because it is all about her! (oh, and we shouldn't forget that special man that will give her happily-ever-after) :) It only gets better from there so enjoy the whole journey, and let us know if you are interested in attending the bridal fair as a guest of our studio.

California, road trips and editors

Last week, we had the pleasure of a quick road trip to California. Now, if you know anything about my wife, this means that there is a mandatory stop at In n' Out burger...it was good! We are only waiting for them to spread to Texas-don't they know everything is bigger and better here?! So we find our way to the office of Bodas la revista-currently the only spanish language bridal magazine. We had a wonderful time being introduced to the staff and then had a long chat with the editor. She let us know about all the great things they have in their future. (Check out their website at www.bodasusa.com and have a translator ready if needed) We, as a studio, plan to keep in contact and hopefully continue this business relationship as the magazine spreads more widely across this part of the country. We know there is a need here, particularly with half of our population being spanish speakers. We will keep you updated as to when we are published again. If you are interested in seeing the magazine, feel free to ask, we have a few copies and plan to hand them out at the next bridal fair in March. Or if In n' Out burger striked your interest more, let us know and we'll get started planning another road trip!!

Studio's newest member

It is high time that we introduce our newest member to the studio. His name is Neo. He has green eyes, blonde hair and four legs! Its our new puppy, Neo. He was born November 10, 2008 and came to live at his permanent home December 22, 2008. Keep an eye out for him during our shoots as we're hoping to train him well. He's already responding to come, sit and lay down...next its retrieve lense by name and clean sensor. :) We are very excited to introduce him as he will be a great asset to the studio!
